Question, after driving an early 90's Buick Century, did you have the same strange urge to set the car on fire that I did?

Most recently memorable car would be the new Dodge Avenger... it haunts my nightmares. I complained about the Chevrolet Malibus the rental agency had given me the last few times... never again. DO YOU HEAR ME ENTERPRISE? I GIVE UP! I'LL TAKE THE MALIBU! *sobbing and rocking*

There was a time when Kia gave out gift cards for test driving their cars, and I really wanted to try out a Cadenza because I love how that car looks, but the people I would've gone with act like children -_- and they're my ride, so ended up not getting the angry glares from the dealers and just spent the day in the dorm.

6 is Godspeed's wagon so I've driven it and 7 would be my IS300. So at least my car is in the top 10! Oh and the Odyssey is my mom's car, the Expedition is my dad's truck, and the Buick is my gram's car lol.

1. 2009 BMW E90 M3 (Manual)
This was the first car I learned to drive manual on, so I think in part to that I'll always have a special place in my heart for these. Tons of fun to drive, and surprisingly practical, I wouldn't mine owning one myself down the line. Did like to drink 93 octane, but we all have our vices.

2. 1993 MR2 Turbo (Manual)
This is the car I currently own and DD, so I'm a bit biased. Regardless, it's still one of the most nimble and well balanced cars I've driven, and features many creature comforts and competitive economy.

3. 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX Hatchback (Manual)
This is the car one of my best friends owns, and has significant modifications internally but is completely stock in appearance and exhaust. Very fast, probably one of the fastest cars I've driven, easily faster than the M3. Everyone loves a sleeper.

4. 2010 Porsche Cayman S (Manual)This was a nice car, but had a featherlight clutch and a lot of road noise. Was pretty fast and refined, but with all the hype just wasn't what I expected it to be. Maybe if I took it out on the track I would change my mind.

5. 2013 Scion FR-S (Manual)
Good looking car, albeit with stock rims and tires it looks goofy. Light clutch, decent amount of interior space and fold flat rear seats. Good mileage but was honestly too slow for my tastes. If I actually had purchased one, I know I'd be putting Forced Induction on it, and I already have one turbo project.

6. 1990 Mazda Miata (Manual)
A good friend of mine lent me his while my MR2 was in the shop a few months ago. It had definitely seen better days, but had a recent engine rebuild and transmission work, and made lots of cool noises. The paint on it was horrible, and had been modified to a blue and white racing livery complete with numbers; needless to say it was great. I didn't push it very hard for fear of damaging it, but I had fun rowing through the gears with my foot flat. Loses points for leaving me on the side of the highway, but no harm no foul.

7. 2010 Jetta 2.0T (Manual)
My first daily driver in high school, this was a sublease that my father acquired for me to use. I liked the car a lot, and it showed me what fun FWD could be. That being said, it reaffirmed my preference of RWD or AWD. Ate tires because it (I) loved to do burnouts. Excellent interior, best media system I've used to this day.

I've driven a few other cars, notably a 2009 Lincoln Navigator, 2006 Lincoln Aviator, 2009 BMW 335D, 2007 BMW 328i, 2003 Lexus LS430, 1993 Ford F150ext, and my least favorite, a 2013 Chevrolet Impala. I just don't care about them enough to rank them.

Only been driving for two years or so, but here are my experiences. I had some pretty long seat time in all of these except for the last two Benzes, the E39 and the allroad.

12. 2006 Civic.. instructors car.. 4 speed auto.. yeah.

11. 2012 GLK 350 4matic

10. 2002 E39 525i steptronic. Friend's car but in bad shape.. he taking his sweet time to get the wheel bearings replaced so they make a terrifying noise.

9. 2011 C300 4matic

8. 2002 S430. My first car! Quality issues aside, nothing like the grandiose feeling of any S-Class in terms of luxuriousness, features, and secure-ness.

7. 2013 F10 528i. Loaner for a week, good canvas of a chassis, but definitely needs at least the turbo I-6 and sport suspension to be a really good experience.

6. 2013 Allroad. Really should tie with the A4 but I only had this one for a day

5. 2013 A4 2.0T

4. 2010 Q5 3.2

Nope. The Sportcombi is faster (at the moment) sure, but it's still FWD and has nowhere near the steering feel the IS300 does.

Haha well to start it's my daily. Took me three years to find the right one, manual, low miles, navigation. It's amazing to drive, everything is a step beyond any other 9-3. Steering is more responsive, suspension tighter and more composed, engine livelier, the whole experience is elevated. The XWD is stunning, especially with the LSD on the rear axel, fling it hard enough and you can kick the back end out on dry pavement- in a Saab!
